WHat is this?
SEF provides funding for projects which further students’ educational experiences; projects go beyond the scope of those funded by the Salem School Department. SEF has an interest in funding projects which help students develop their talents, become lifelong learners and effective community members and help to create an environment in which to pursue and achieve excellence. Grants are for up to $1000 for an Enrichment project or $3000 for a Collaborative project which involves multiple schools.
Who can apply?
Eligible applicants are Salem Public School teachers and staff. Volunteers or parents may apply for projects taking place in schools IF submitted by a staff member.
When can i apply?
The application period is open May 15th through July 1st with approved funding available for the start of the Fall 25’.
how do I apply?
Go to salemeducationfoundation.org and click on the “Grants” tab to find a pdf version of our application, a sample grant, and some examples of previously funded projects. Finally go to: Google Forms - Online Application to complete your application.
