Lydia King, Board Member
Lydia grew up in Lynn, MA but was educated in Salem for elementary and secondary school, before receiving a Bachelor's of science in economics and statistics from Binghamton University in New York. Lydia is a strategic expert with a background in analytics, economics, and direct social action. Lydia spent years working in the Kendall Square start-up scene, before transitioning into Medicare operations in 2023. In her free time, Lydia serves on the International Association For Data Quality, Governance, and Analytics board of advisors. 

A strong advocate for progressive social change and equity, Lydia also volunteers her technical expertise with New England non-profits like the Foundation for Healthy Communities in New Hampshire and A Better City in Boston - focusing on economic health, DEI, equitable growth, sustainability, and quality of life for our community. Lydia moved to Salem with her husband Henry in 2020.
